Timeless RETRO

Ever want to go back in time and live in the 60's and 70's?  I was a child of the 70's, I was too young to know style back then but for some odd reason I gravitate towards the classic style of that era.  There's something very girly, chic, fun yet filled with sophistication.

These beautiful flower power wallpaper is a collection of original design of the 60's and 70's from Vintage Wallpapers from Belgium

Who can say no to these cotton candy color refrigerators?  They are from Big Chill, Smeg, and NorthStar

Antique Rugs

An area rug can make or break a room, it's the final touch that ties everything together.  I found that the rug is the last piece of the puzzle to complete the room to give it warmth and to demarcate an area.  On occasion, you might have one rug that you can't live without and could be used as the inspiration for the room, then the rest of the room will have to compliment the rug.  The home that I've been working on has modern architecture style with vintage modern furniture.  We are at the last stretch of the project and in search for antique rugs.  I am still learning about the different types but here are a few of my favorite!

Copper Feel

Metal is one of the trickiest material in a space.  You want to match every details in the space so it has one unified metal color but not all products come in all metal finishes.  I appreciate designers who attempted to at least coordinate and try make it work with similar tone metals.  One of my all time favorite is copper!  It has an aged look that glisten with warmth.

Repurposed light fixture by Conant Metal & Light - the use of copper pipes as electric carrier and old insulator glass makes this a delicate and beautiful recycle piece of art [ I used this one with some customization at Catch restaurant over the communal table ]
