Today, I have the privilege to see the work of the master of fashion creation - Jean Paul Gaultier. I was in awe of the intricate details that go into each garment. I live for details and I am happy to report that everything about this man is the in the details. I saw lace, woven ribbon, wheat, leather, flowers, hair, to name a few. It's not just the material itself but how he used them. Every pieces were so well thought out and over the top avant-garde. There is no word that can describe how magnificent this exhibit was. It's now on view at the Brooklyn Museum. My photos are more focused on the details and transitional moment from one material to another. Needless to say, I am more inspired than ever!
